Micky Tsui is Vice President and General Manager, Unified Communications Solutions for Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.
In his role as Vice President and General Manager, Tsui is accountable for transforming the value of Avaya's core telephony assets into differentiated UC solutions and sustainable market leadership. In is previous role as Senior Vice President, Global Business Operations, Tsui was responsible for global quality, global pricing and global deals management. He also was responsible for M&A integration and execution, global business process improvement, emerging technology venture investments and software initiative.
Tsui joined Avaya at the end of 2000 as the general manager for the converged systems business and led Avaya to the market leadership position for IP telephony. Prior to joining Avaya, he held various management positions at Nortel in strategic planning, product management and research & development. While at Nortel, he was responsible for the successful launch of the Meridian product line of PBX and the product development of the Meridian Mail and Call Center products. Tsui also initiated the Internet Access and Solutions business addressing the enterprise and service provider markets. He began his career as a systems engineer in communications network planning and optimization. Tsui earned a bachelor's degree in Engineering (honors) from McGill University in Canada. |
