Chris Formant is the Senior Vice President & President, Avaya Global Services. Avaya is a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems, and services.

 

In this role, Formant leads the company's global services business, a division with approximately 8,000 employees around the globe. Avaya Global Services provides a full range of services across Avaya's portfolio of communications solutions, including planning, design, integration, product support and managed services that tie communications functionality to business strategies.

 

Prior to joining Avaya, Formant was an executive vice president and executive committee member at BearingPoint, a global management consulting and technology services company. At BearingPoint, Formant oversaw the firm's global financial services practice, where he assisted companies in solving large-scale business issues through a variety of industry-focused management consulting and technology services solutions. Formant was named one of the top 25 consultants in the world by Consulting Magazine while at BearingPoint.

 

Prior to Bearing Point, Formant served in multiple leadership roles, including CEO of the technology consulting firm Scient, senior partner and global banking leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and executive vice president at MBNA.

 

Formant has a Bachelor of Science from Washington and Lee University and a Masters of Business Administration from George Washington University.
