Avaya SIP Telephony Solution Receives Editor's Choice Award


After extensive testing, Avaya SIP solutions cited for best interoperability with third-party phones and rich set of features

Avaya announced that its Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) telephony solutions have received an Editor's Choice Award from Network Computing magazine.
Based on extensive testing and evaluation by its editors, the magazine cited Avaya's SIP solution for providing the best interoperability with third-party phones and a mature, rich set of features.
 
SIP is a standards-based IP telephony signaling language that facilitates seamless interoperability among various media, including audio, video, instant messaging and presence. The test evaluation was conducted by Network Computing in its Real-World Labs® on the campus of Syracuse University.
