Flexible Hours: Supervisors may modify work schedules to allow flexible starting and stopping times. Flexible hours also are an important component of our plans to comply with state or local laws and ordinances that require employers to help reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. Avaya's flexible work schedules may include part-time, telecommuting, job-shares and compressed work weeks.

Family Resource Program offers confidential, free, practical advice, educational materials, and referrals to local and national resources to help you better manage your work and personal responsibilities. Topics include: Taking Care of Yourself, Child Care and Parenting, Education, Elder Care and Adult Disability, and Adoption.

The Adoption Reimbursement program provides up to $3,500 per child to cover eligible expenses associated with adopting a child under age 18. You can apply for reimbursement if the child is placed in your home for adoption.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a prepaid, confidential counseling and referral resource coordinated through Magellan Health Services. The program is available to help you and your family successfully deal with life’s problems and challenges.
